Olympic Sculpture Commissionat Twelve Trees Crescent on the Thames Tributary, 2005.
A clay sculpt was made over a steel framework, then a 28 piece fibre glass mould.
The pieces were cast and joined. Here are Michael Whitley and Joe who fabricated and moulded the sculpture.
I proposed the Elephant on the Egg design (which I prefered ) - appropriate to the site for history.
The development site was the original East India Dock of tea imports, and also the earliest known porcelain factory in the UK ( Caxton-ware )
