BOATYARD ~ An Clos mBad

TILBY print collection

The art of Irish boat building embodies resilience, defiance and survival. The Boatyard: An Clos mBad is Anne Tilby’s shrine to the unknown fishermen and craftsmen who lived their lives by the sea. Her latest work, exhibited at Bantry House , Bantry Bay County Cork  ~ from 13th July to 29th July, is an appreciation of the obsolete culture of slow design, the courage of those who lived their lives at sea and who lived lives of measured craftsmanship.

The exhibition features a soundscape ~ a collaboration with Steve Jones & Irish poet Pat Waters
